Stormy – 17.1hh 8-year-old ISH Gelding by Royal Storm

Stormy is a striking 17.1hh, 8-year-old Irish Sport Horse by Royal Storm, now looking for a new owner to love and adore him as much as I have over the past four years.

He consistently produces a quality dressage test, regularly scoring in the high 20s to low 30s at British Eventing. He is bold and scopey across the country, having schooled confidently over 100cm fences in training. While he has jumped up to 1m at home show jumping, he is more comfortable competing around 80–90cm.

Stormy has a genuine love for life and thoroughly enjoys camps, training days, beach rides, and fun rides. He has hunted and behaved impeccably, proving to be safe, sane, and reliable in a range of environments. I believe he would excel as a team chaser, a dressage horse, or continue to be the fantastic all-rounder he has been for me.

He would suit a confident teenager or competent adult. Due to his size, he is not suitable for a complete novice, although he is very straightforward, kind, and easy to do in every way. My novice partner has ridden him with no issues.

Stormy hacks alone and in company, is excellent to shoe, box, and tack up, and is a pleasure to have on the yard. He adores fuss and attention, and will happily stand for hours with his favourite person.

This is a very sad sale of a much-loved horse who has been part of the family for over four years. Stormy is up to date with vaccinations, teeth, and physiotherapy.
