Hampshire Equine Touch
Hampshire Equine Touch
Welcome to Hampshire Equine Touch! My name is Julie, and I am a fully qualified Equine Touch practitioner based in North Hampshire. I cover all surrounding areas, offering holistic equine bodywork services designed to support your horse’s mental and physical well-being.
About Equine Touch
Equine Touch is a gentle, hands-on bodywork system that targets fascia—a connective tissue layer running throughout the horse’s body. Fascia lies beneath the skin and plays a crucial role in stabilizing, attaching, and separating muscles and other internal structures.
Common Symptoms We Can Address:
- Refusing fences or knocking poles
- Reluctance to stretch or collect
- Disuniting in canter or incorrect strike-off
- Stiffness on one rein
- Head tilt
- Poor transitions
- Contact issues
- Lack of fluency and working through the back
Benefits of Equine Touch:
- Improve suppleness, willingness, and balance
- Relieve tight muscles and improve symmetry
- Prepare for competition and quicken recovery
- Re-balance muscles after veterinary and dental treatments, hoof maintenance, and box rest
- Reduce stress and promote relaxation
- Prevent injuries
- Deepen the bond between horse and owner
- Address changes in behaviour or temperament
- Support when your horse just doesn’t seem right
Equine Touch is suitable for horses of any age, including happy hackers, companions, elderly, injured, and competition horses.
